Together with my girlfriend Ramona and my dog Canello, I lived in Schiedam. I moved to Schiedam at the end of 2011, just after I graduated from the Eindhoven University of Technology and started at Huisman Equipment. In December 2019 we moved to Helmond, where our second dog, Henry, joined us. Besides spending time with friends, we also enjoy playing board games. This is still something be both love. Below you can read a small history of us and our dogs.
On April the 10th 2016 we have adopted Canello. Canello lived on the Canary Islands before we adopted him and was approximately 6 years old.
In the beginning Canello did not even listen to his own name. So training was needed…
But now the training is finished, he knows the basic commands and listens to them (well, at least the most of the time). As Canello enjoyed the training, we continued with the agility training. As Canello was already climbing the coach, tables and even the cat smokey, he enjoys this (even when he has to do it on command).
Ever since we adopted Canello, we go to the beach more often. Canello likes the beach, although the sea itself is still a little bit scary. But after a while he actually swims in the sea (at least when we go for a swim).
In December 2019 Ramona and I moved to Helmond, where we adopted a second dog: Henry. We have started training Henry, and we are amazed how well he obeys commands and how quickly he learns them. The only problem in the beginning was the bench, as he becomes really anxious when we leave him together with Canello at home for a short period of time. Luckily this was handled well by being patient and to train Henry in the bench, so nowadays it is not so much of a problem anymore. Henry also completed the elementary obedience training, which he finished with 49 of the 50 points at the exam (and this while skipping one class completely). So now both our dogs are on agility training.
Sadly, Canello died in the beginning of 2022.
Afterwards, Dido was added to our family. Dido and Henry play a lot together.
On the 20th of August 2022, Ramona and I got married.
